About

An independent practice, built around the work.

PentAIx is an independent offensive-security practice. No account managers, no hand-off between sales and delivery, no junior consultant learning on your environment.

Why PentAIx exists

Most security work is sold as coverage: a number of days, a number of targets, a report at the end. Coverage matters, but it is not the same as understanding what an attacker would do. PentAIx is built around the second question.

Engagements are deliberately small. I scope the work, do the testing, write the report and answer the follow-up questions. That continuity is the point: the person who found the issue is the person who explains it.

The practice is remote-first and works with startups internationally. Engagements are delivered in English.

What the work is built on

These are not values on a slide. They decide what gets tested, what gets reported and what gets left out.

Manual first

Scanners find patterns. The work is following the paths they miss: chained access, business logic and the assumptions between systems.

Scope you can audit

Written scope, named targets, clear exclusions and a single point of contact, agreed before a packet is sent.

Evidence over noise

Every finding includes reproduction steps, realistic impact and a remediation path your team can implement.

No theatre

No inflated severity, no copy-pasted scanner output, no finding that disappears when you ask for a reproduction.

Background

The practice is built on hands-on web, network and Active Directory testing, with an emphasis on chained attacks and real-world exploitation. That includes web application assessments, lab environments and bug-bounty-style research.

The workflow is practical: reconnaissance, fingerprinting, exploitation and post-exploitation. The report follows the same path, so your team can see exactly how an attacker would move from one finding to the next.

When PentAIx is the right fit

A good fit

  • You have a product, API or infrastructure that customers depend on.
  • You want manual testing and a report your engineers will use.
  • You need independent evidence for a customer, investor or auditor.
  • You want a direct line to the person doing the work.

Probably not a fit

  • You need a scanner run or a checklist audit.
  • You need a staff-augmentation contract rather than a defined engagement.
  • You need the lowest-cost quote above all else.
  • You need a large team to staff a multi-month programme.
